Remember Me Playthrough - Episode 7 - Part 2

My thoughts of the game:
This game has a rather appealing aesthetic: it's futuristic, it has an apocalyptic feel to it, and there are these clean digital menus laid out around the world itself. Unfortunately, that's where the main appeal ends...so far. Combat is bland: while the main character is indeed agile and powerful, her attacks lack finesse and "oomph." In fact it actually looks a bit silly at the beginning of the game. The story seems a bit interesting but only in the sense that you're curious to find out Nilin's back story or true character. Luckily the memory remixes provide a change of pace, allowing you to change the memories of person in order to get what you want out of them. IGN says that it only occurs four times throughout the game tho...CRAP! With only four remixing moments you expect them to be a bit more open-ended but instead you're actually only solving a puzzle. While you can see various outcomes from your tampering of the memories play out in the mind, that's where it ends as progress is only by making the exact changes the game wants you to make. Here's hoping that the game intrigues me more as the plot develops.
