Tutorial de instalação:

1. Como Root, crie uma pasta no diretório raiz do seu Linux com o nome “remix”

2. Extraia da imagem baixada (ISO) os seguintes arquivos e coloque-os na pasta criada:

initrd.img
kernel
ramdisk.img
system.img

3. Crie uma pasta com o nome “data” no diretório “remix” (/remix/data)

4. Configure o GRUB para mostrar a opção Remix OS na inicialização:

a) Abra um arquivo de configuração do GRUB:

gksudo gedit /etc/grub.d/40_custom

b) E adicione no final dele o seguinte código:

menuentry 'Remix OS' --class android-x86 {
insmod part_gpt
search --file --no-floppy --set=root /remix/system.sfs
linux /remix/kernel root=/dev/ram0 androidboot.hardware=remix_x86_64 androidboot.selinux=permissive CMDLINE
initrd /remix/initrd.img
}

5. Salve o arquivo e atualize o GRUB com o comando:

sudo update-grub
