I'm moving through and there's some strange effigy that will summon a boss, Shroud, in a regular part of the level. This whoops my ass several times. I do much better in the area you're supposed to fight him.

I start dabbling with upgrades which works similar to dark souls with rarer materials. On the character screen it tells you whether you're at the right level for your gear. Thats nice!

Also have to defend a root mother chick in a church. Its pretty tough and I get close a couple of times before I actually barely get by. I can see why bosses are giving solo people trouble. There will be adds in every fight to drop ammo and you need to engage them, manage stamina, reload, and health animations, while avoiding boss attacks as well.
