Remnant: From the Ashes - Swamps of Corsus DLC Releases Later This Month

Developer Gunfire Games has announced the imminent release of the first premium downloadable content for Remnant: From the Ashes, the third-person action-adventure title published by Perfect World Entertainment in August 2019.
The Swamps of Corsus DLC is expected to launch for PC on April 28, 2020, and will become available for the Xbox One and PS4 at a later unannounced date. Introducing a new survival mode for the game as well as a new location, items, and weapons, Swamps of Corsus will be priced at $9.99 and can also be purchased in a bundle with the full game for $44.99.
The DLC’s rogue-like permadeath Survival Mode starts players off armed with solely a pistol and some scrap. Intrepid adventurers will travel randomly through corrupted World Stones to investigate different biomes in the search of epic rewards like unique armor and 50 new armor skins, facing off with incredibly difficult enemies and bosses before they can make off with their newly acquired loot.
The Iskal Rise, a new Adventure Mode zone, will introduce new quests, stories, and events, as well as four challenging side dungeons with new bosses. The Swamps of Corsus biome will also give players the opportunity to collect new armor, mods, traits, and three powerful weapons.
Remnant: From the Ashes takes place in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with otherworldly creatures. The remnants of humanity now survive only in isolated clusters, living like rats in the rubble of a devastated past. The player sets out to regain some of what was lost, venturing into a variety of environments to take down tough enemies and intimidating bosses. Teaming up cooperatively with up to two other players, the game’s protagonist strives to expand humanity’s foothold in the land and rebuild.
Dubbed by many as a Soulsborne game, Remnant: From the Ashes offers unforgiving combat with monstrous enemies that range from small relentless hordes to behemoths the size of buildings. Battling through hostile biomes rewards players with valuable loot and materials that are imperative for survival, allowing for armor and weapon upgrades and modifications.
Remnant: From the Ashes was released in August 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox. The Swamps of Corsus DLC will release first for PC on April 28, 2020, and for consoles at a later date.
