Finally it's time to start the new Remnants of the Precursors series, this time on twitch and this time with Game Developer Ray Fowler watching in chat -- along with Modnar, one of the AI designers. In this run we are going to be taking the Space Rocks, the Silicoids, out for a hyper expansive adventure across the stars. At least until we get some early wrenches in our plans. The AI personalities are randomized in this one and I'm playing on Large map with 14 AI opponents -- 4 of which have custom Modnar AI and 4 more who have custom Xilmi AI. It's going to be a glorious bloodbath, and time will tell how long I can make this run last. But for now we can make our own Flight of the Conchords style inspirational poster and proudly say Space...Rocks!

Remnants of the Precursors is a rebuild of the 4x classic Master of Orion, a game that digs deep into the four fundamentals of explore, exploit, expand, and exterminate. The game pits a number of different sci-fi races and cultures against each other both for galactic domination and to find out the truth behind old technology left by the aptly named Orions. Players can choose to peacemonger their way into the helm of the galactic council, or you can design your own ships and obliterate other planets from orbit. The important decisions come early, and the game gives you a lot of options for how to tackle problems. But at the end of the day, not everyone you encounter will be friendly. Is it time to open fire and engage?

This run is unmodded. In future runs I'll be using/showcasing some mods but I wanted to keep it more straightforward at the start. However, AI personalities are randomized.
