Remove Initiative From D&D or Leave alone Our Beloved Tabletop RPG Game
I was kind of surprised to learn Mike Mearls wanted to remove initiative from 5th edition dungeons and dragons, but was shot down when reinventing the worlds oldest and most popular tabletop RPG game. Some sacred cows are to strong to kill. I guess they thought gamers would rebel if their gaming experience was tampered with on this level. Their are plenty of other tabletop games they could of borrowed from for game mechanics if they wanted to.
