Remove mods and shaders easily with DIM | Destiny 2 Guide
9With Destiny 2: Lightfall launching we aren't sure how this will effect the armor mods, weapon mods or shaders. Here is a quick was to remove them.
DIM:
https://app.destinyitemmanager.com/login
Type in is:armor at the top search. Go to the 3 dots, click on strip sockets and then select what you want to strip.
**If you cannot log into DIM wait Lightfall releases. Do not update lightfall until AFTER you do this**
In this video I show you how to use DIM to quickly remove all your armor mods, weapon mods and shaders as we move into the new expansion for destiny 2. We don't know how the new update will effect any of these things so its best to remove them and readd them later. By removing them using DIM its not going to delete them from the game, it will just remove them from your armor and weapons.
