I just extracted the audio samples directly from the game data, so there is no resampling or filtering at all. They are extracted bit-by-bit identical. Renoise is set to play the samples with totally no interpolation, so you get the most crunch possible.
Audio is uploaded to YouTube in lossless 16-bit 48,000Hz WAV.
The samples are in 4-bit. The playback engine can play the samples in various frequencies, ranging from 4,680Hz (bass sample at B) to 7,573Hz (double_sd sample). I don't know the limit. There also seems to be two volume settings, for playing a sample in full volume, or in half volume.
The melody part is emulated from jsidplay2 with the PCM sample playback muted. I tried my best to recreate the PCM sample track in full detail as much as possible but I'm human and I sometimes make mistakes, so please forgive me if you notice a mistake. The volume mixing might not be identical to the original since that is where I did some guesswork.
This upload has been mistakenly identified as a cover of another song I don't know called Sakura or something, so if you see midroll ads, I'm sorry, that's probably the reason.
