Yes, we're all pissed off that the mighty Shield TV has fallen to the forced ad banner of Google - but we don't have to settle for it. If you've recently been plagued by the large, ugly and permanent "Discover" ad UI on your homescreen, we're going to show you just one replacement launcher that will help you out.

In this video, we'll show installation and configuration which includes remapping your home button to jump to the launcher and making the new launcher start on boot up.

Note: This launcher isn't free. It costs $3.49 USD. Yes, there are "free" alternatives, but this does the job of a couple of different apps and it is well made with a lot of features. Don't put up with Google ads when the price of a cup of coffee can fix it.
