Let's take a look at a rather basic piece of kit; Radio Shack's Executive Decision Maker (aka digital Magic 8 Ball).

We're going to play with it, take it apart and delve the internet looking for an answer to a question that is plaguing me ...

Note: I did this rather ad hoc and the mic is a bit hot in spots and the camera wasn't 100% agreeable. Hope you enjoy it anyway. :)

Edit: Not sure why comments aren't showing up here, but we have it narrowed down from 1978 - 1982!
