Replacing a leaking vacuum modulator on my 1988 Ford Ranger. Easiest way I figured to do it would be to remove the Catalytic Converter. Replacing the modulator was a relatively easy fix assuming you can remove the catalytic converter. Because I replaced the catalytic converter about a year ago and used stainless steel bolts I was able to easy remove the catalytic converter and access the transmission vacuum modulator.
