The Cartridge connector in my NES was seriously worn out.
It was SO worn out that you had more luck getting the cartridge to work without pushing it down after inserting it into the slot.
So it was finally time to replace the connector.
I've got a new one quite a while ago on one of the 'Retrobeurzen'.
The procedure to replace it is actually pretty easy and straight forward.
