Took more than 7 months to finally break down. The controller had two instances where it vibrated uncontrollably and loudly during gameplay. First time was during RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE where I was using an Assault Rifle. It kept vibrating after I stopped firing. Second time was during RATCHET & CLANK: RIFT APART where I was using the Blackhole Storm and again it kept vibrating after I stopped firing. After that the R2 button is so loose that a very light tap can register it. I ordered a pack of 10 controller springs from Amazon for $5.50. The springs are not as strong as the original but they got the job done. This is my first time opening up the controller and replacing the spring so I'm sorry it's a bit rough. I'm also sorry that I didn't fully show how to place the spring correctly on the controller. My fingers are fat and it was super annoying and I had to be closer to the controller so I could get that part of the footage. For tools, I used two different tweezers and a tiny Philips head screw driver.
