Replaying Glover - Final Part: No More Game Overs (Eventually)
1The finale of me replaying the N64 "classic" Glover. It's a very jank 3D Platformer where you bring a ball through a level and try not to die too many times from the oddest most messed up jank. I'll say, I still have a soft spot for the game even after completing the last two worlds during this stream, but I'll admit it's often frustrating, unfair and bullshit.
Like I said, during this particular stream I did the last two worlds specifically, Tower of Fear and Outta This World. These two worlds honestly were mostly very manageable especially after I started grinding up some lives so that we didn't have to attempt stages with just 3 lives. I found this to be a better approach to dealing with the lives versus just turning on the infinite life cheat which kept some pressure on especially as I continued to die.
I'll say, eventually the title of the stream is correct. Eventually. Eventually. That part's very important. I Surely, once I stockpiled enough lives that was it for game overs, right? Well... see for yourself. Also, apparently it's "Fortress of Fear" - during this stream I was calling it "Tower of Fear". Close enough!
