Rescue Heroes Toys 2019

We’re at the New York Toy Fair 2019 and we’re checking out the new Rescue Heroes Toys for 2019. Yes, Rescue Heroes are back! The hugely popular toy line that was content-heavy in the early-2000s is back. Mattel and Fisher-Price believe it’s a great time to bring it back because it’s all about non-combative play – no bad guys, no villains – just men and women from all over the world coming together to save the day in man-made and natural disasters.

They have brand new team members but also old favorites like Billy Blaze, who is back to lead the team. New members include Carlos KitBash – our machinist from Cuba, Forrest Fuego – our forest fire fighter from South America, and Sandy O’Shin – our Irish underwater expert.

Of course, they need to have some great gear, great tools, and great vehicles if they’re going to save the day.

Rescue Heroes Transforming Fire Truck
Mattel’s flagship item in the Rescue Heroes line is the Rescue Heroes Transforming Fire Truck. It features interactive lights and siren sound effects. If you roll onto the scene and need a little something extra that’s okay – you just raise it up to a high altitude rescue mech with a swiveling 360-degree rescue ladder with a grabbing hook for removing debris and make the save. Load the water cannon up with water projectile discs and you can put out any flame. And once you’ve saved the day, you hit the latch to bring it back down slowly. It’s got a slow, smooth close thanks to its integrated hydraulic system. It also holds multiple action figures and their gear. So it’s also a storage solution. So a large-scale vehicle, playset, storage solution all-in-one. A great way for our Rescue Heroes to save the day.

In addition, Mattel will also be having some great content featured on YouTube Kids, as seen on the packaging. They’ll be offering not only animation content, but also live-action content. They’re focusing on kids making a difference in their own communities. They found kids who were very active in recycling or were raising food and money for the homeless or even children who were active in pet adoption. Just once again driving home that idea of making a difference in your own community – friendship, community, and rescue.
