So, I recently got a Golden Tee Fore! arcade cabinet, completely free, from Gumtree and I figured you might like to see how I do when it comes to reassembling it and converting it to be a multi-game cabinet.

It was a (fairly) dry day today so decided it was the best opportunity to tackle the rusty metal brackets as I'd need time outside to remove the old paint and rust, then they'd need time outside to air for the rust treatment to do its thing, then even more time outside for priming/painting/varnishing. Lots of other jobs that need doing (like wiring up the innards) can be done when it's raining. Make hay while the sun shines!

(And yes, I really shoud've setup a near-miss/oooof counter for every time I do something seriously cack-handed with a powertool in this but I fear I would've run out of numbers. Count the amount of times you wince at what I do and put the number in the comments!)
