Video game Resident Evil 2, also known as Biohazard 2 (2 Baiohazdo Ts?) in Japan, was first made available for the PlayStation in 1998. The second Resident Evil game, developed by Capcom, is set in the Midwestern American mountain town of Raccoon City and takes place two months after the events of the first Resident Evil game. The t-Virus, a biological weapon created by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella, has turned the citizens of the city into zombies. The two protagonists, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, come against obstacles as they flee the city.
