Resident Evil 2, known as Biohazard 2 (バイオハザード2 Baiohazādo Tsū) in Japan, is a survival horror video game originally released for the PlayStation in 1998. Developed by Capcom as the second installment in the Resident Evil series, its story takes place two months after the events of the first game, Resident Evil. It is set in Raccoon City, a Midwestern American mountain community whose residents have been transformed into zombies by the t-Virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella. In their escape from the city, the two protagonists, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, encounter other survivors, and are confronted by William Birkin, the mutated creator of the even more powerful G-virus, a variation of the t-Virus.

REASONS FOR THIS VIDEO: I wanted to remake my 2015 Longplay video in higher quality and improvements, (see below).

IMPROVEMENTS OVER THE ORIGINAL LONGPLAY:

(Audio & Video)
Higher overall quality video and sound.
60 (fps) frames per second.
In-game black level 'normalized'.
In-game Sound Effects volume 'normalized.
In-game Graphics Smoothing.
In-game sfx/music 'normalized'. Music volume would lower when turning a page when viewing files. This was due to my Windows desktop sound configuration at that time.
Cut-scene (movies) black level 'normalized'.
Cut-scene (movies) volume 'normalized'.
Avoided graphics corruption in the Underground Base which occurs when activating the Anti-B.O.W. gas sprinkler system.

(Additions)
Added missing music (in this version) which appears in the Biohazard 2 (Sourcenext) and original PlayStation versions. e.g. R.P.D. Courtyard and Meeting Marvin.
Added a second platform descending movie after the boss fight when Ada is injured at The Factory.

(Gameplay)
The game has been intentionally played at a little faster pace compared to my previous video, which was a Longplay. Even though this could be considered as a longplay it was not intended to be such and therefore is labelled as a playthrough.
