RESIDENT EVIL 2 REMAKE PS4: HARDCORE S+ RANK FINAL BOSS FIGHTS
0S+ Rank first time unlocked on hardcore (Rewards Infinite Rocket Launcher & Sub Machine Gun). Read more on my tip and strategy below:
weapon strategy for G Birkin:
I used only:
Shotgun (all parts acquired. Full ammo pack)
Magnum (Only one clip needed to start. there's two more rounds on the stage)
Flame thrower (the more fuel the better to start with)
3 flash bangs
Attack strategy for G Birkin:
-Know the fight area. Be aware where the extra 2 flash bangs are. Health can. Fuel can. Magnum bullets & Grenade. All that is on that battle stage with him.
-Only use the flash bang to stun him (before his final phase). Then switch to your shotgun. While hes stunned its wise to Go around to his back and shoot the eye out. Its the toughest spot to get to. Then go for his left leg eye if you can. If you cant then make some space and bait him to do the big overhead claw slash which will stay in the floor for a couple seconds. From there you can shoot the shoulder eye out.
-When he's downed and opens his chest for his weakest spot (multiple eyes) switch to the flame thrower and cook him up close. If you run out fast Just quickly switch to your Magnum and empty the clip. once he starts to close and move retreat and Repeat this process until his final phase. Always run and reload at the same time
-Final phase just keep moving and watch for his Huge jump stomp like before. when in distance just run under him as hes in the air and keep burning him with the flamethrower. If he jumps at you and it looks like hes got you just throw a flash bang if you have no choice. Make sure you connect well with that Grenade in the area too. use all you got to take him out
weapon strategy for Tyrant:
I only used:
Magnum (with all ammo)
Pistol (with a full clip)
flash bang
3 grenades (make sure you save as many bombs as you can during the game. never use em if you dont have to. it helps later with Tyrant big time)
Just keep moving and dont be greedy. keep picking at him with shots. I start off most of the time with my regular pistol and empty the clip on him. Then switch to the Magnum and keep emptying rounds in him. Shoot at a distance and when he jumps in at you run into him and past him his attack swiftly. He can only hit you when he lands at you close so remember that. Keep circling the area moving in far spaces hugging the fence.
-Most importantly when he goes for the final blow rushing gut kill (which he will began to roar and its unavoidable which leads to one hit instant death) USE A FLASH BANG OR A GRENADE QUICK!!. Repeat the run and shoot method i did and you'll trigger the cut scene to the rocket launcher. Make it count! he takes two hits in hardcore mode than 1 like in standard mode. Good luck!
