Playthrough of Resident Evil 3:Nemesis for the PS1. This is the 2nd run of the same save file to eventually fully fill up all epilogues and get all the costumes by getting a A ranking on this run. After my 3 mercenaries run (one with each character) i off screen farmed the necessary amount of money in there with repeated Mikhail runs to get all the special weapons and then every other single weapon in the game with the infinite ammo package so that getting a A Ranking moving forward becomes realistic as the game design for getting a A Ranking was intended to go like this which is why attempting a A Rank run on the very 1st game is next to impossible realistically speaking. In this run i basically speedrun the game using the same exact route i took on my 1st playthrough. Its absolutely necessary to skip every cutscene in the game as soon as you start it as even during the intro, time starts to count so you cant view every cutscene in the game and get a A rank.
One interesting thing about RE3 is that the game has a degree of randomess when it comes to enemy spawns and placement of non key itens so each playthrough can be different compared to the others but it is a ingame balanced randomizer and there are limits of how many "Random" possibilities are built into the game ( if i remember correctly the game has about 6 different random scenarios for the randomizer). This also affects most of the puzzles of the game as well including the water quality check puzzle later on.
Another interesting thing that happens especifically to the Mine Thrower once it has infinite ammo is that it becomes enhanced just like you do with the Handgun and Shotgun. The Enhanced Mine Thrower fires much faster mines that can pierce multiple enemies before exploding making it perfect to kill enemies before you can even see then but you know its in the area if you can hear then as the enhanced mines have a very disgusting homing. Its very satisfying using it when theres alot of zombies in the area as the mines will circle through most of then while popping their heads like ballons XD. During The Clock Tower Nemesis fight, The Virus state on Jill is not like poison where your health is being constantly drained, it just makes her stay even on Fine looking like she is on caution which also affects your moviment speed. Once Nemesis is defeated and Carlos gives her the Antidote, she will be healed to full health and that can save you the need to use Herbs afterwards making it the only free heal situation in the game.
