Resident Evil 4 Remake - Rank S+ Professional Difficulty (Save 3/13) (Time - 4:31:01)
1Resident Evil 4 Remake - Rank S+ Professional Difficulty Requirements:
- Max 15 saves per playthrough;
- New game only;
- Beat the game under 5h and 30min.
This playthrough strategy is based around the handcannon. Basically what I'm going to do is gather 30 spinels as fast as I can to be able to get the exclusive upgrade and get the infinite handcannon (you can unlock the handcannon easily by beating all the 3 mercenaries stages with an S+ rank).
You may also use costumes and accessories that gives you beneficial perks such as:
- Chicken hat for Leon;
- Armor outfit for Ashley.
IMPORTANT NOTE: "Whenever Leon or Ashley dies, do not choose "Continue" or "Load Game" from the Game Over screen. These two options will add the time you spent until your death to the loaded save (assuming it's still the same playthrough). Instead, choose "Quit Game" and load your most recent save file to reset the timer."
I'm going to divide these videos by number of saves since you can only save 15 times. You need to consider the places where you will most likely die and save just before such places.
Keep in mind that I'm not speedrunning to get the best time, but simply to get a S+ rank. 5 and half hours is generous and you have a lot of headroom if you are fairly acquainted with the game. No glitches or skips used (played the game as intended by the developers).
