Hey everyone and welcome back to another Geek Corner Live Stream.
Today i am going to be starting up the Resident Evil 4 Remake. I'll be playing NG+ so that means i will have all the special weapons needed to take out the evil villagers and their pet monsters. This is a full remake of the original game that uses pieces from RE Village and even adds on to areas from the original game. But i don't want to give away too much.
The Original Resident Evil 4 was first announced in 2002 but it's roots go all the way back to Devil May Cry. What that means is that Devil May Cry started off as resident evil 4 before being shifted into what that game is as we know. However after capcom realized that wasn't going to work for a resident evil game. They decided to take another crack at it and release trailers for what was known as the hook man demo but sadly that version was scrapped as well when capcom said it would be too difficult to produce the version. The finally came the version that we all know and love which would be the start of where the series would head in terms of gameplay. Gone were the fixed cameras and tank controls and those were replaced with over the shoulder cameras which inspired alot of other very popular games today. Though the gameplay would change for the better many fans including myself would like to see tank controls make a return one day.
