Resident Evil 5 - Lost in Nightmare Professional
What's going on:
Depending on if you go from Amateur to Normal to Veteran to Professional, you will notice some changes. I went from Veteran to Professional, but I know there are a few notable changes I will... note. The first is inclusion of mansion enemies. The mallet bros will show up in various mansion areas and in Amateur and Normal (I think), they do not. The places in the mansion they show up are the Piano room, where Jill must play the Moonlight Sonata, and the Storage room, where Chris/Jill must navigate to get to the lever (after the spiky ceiling has been activated).
Also of note, in the Storage room there are no proximity bombs to place on Professional mode. You will also not find additional weapons in Professional mode... or at least there aren't any to pick up I think. I never pay attention to what Jill picks up, but I didn't see any additional weapons to pick up. This isn't so horrible as I just run through Professional mode and try to shoot my gun as little as possible. This is probably a lot better to do with another living person as the AI is terrible, but no one with the game was awake at the time and I am crafted primarily of impatience and sarcasm.
Part two starts when you leap down and this is where things start to get tricksie for me. For the most part, I try to keep ammo out of Jills inventory so she doesn't stand around trying to shoot the mallet bros. I really don't know why I stopped to get all the stars that I did, though I don't think I got them all this time (I already got the trophy so I didn't really need them); you don't need to S rank Professional mode and it's not the best play to get the stars on in the first place. The main thing is to be quick and know where the mallet bros are likely to be.
I actually didn't start dying until part three when I got to the Slate rooms. A thing to note about them: there are four slates and your difficulty is what determines how many you need. Amateur is one up to Professional where you need all four, however you don't need to activate four traps. After you trounce the first mallet bro it will trigger two more. If you're quick you can knock out two with one trap and save yourself the time before moving on to the final one.
Wesker shows up in part four, at the end. There is a trophy for damaging him which I've already got so I basically just fuck around for some minutes until the battle auto ends. It's painful and Jills AI is made of disappointment; really she is the one who makes it difficult. Anyway... good luck with this awesome DLC.
