KSP - USS ThisWillNeverFly
At first it seemed as though my kerbal clones would be as up for this mission as Jebediah, or even Bill, was for the last mission, but too soon did I smile. As we neared 200m, it became apparent that Ronwin was having some doubts about the validity of my craft and as 300m began to encroach upon us, Barden seemed to begin sharing those doubts.
Strangely enough, as 400m approached, Ronwin seemed to maintain an uneasy, if not moderatly accepting, mental state while Jenton seemed to catch Barden's escalating terror and he went, what we in the profession like to refer to as, snooker loopy. I can only guess that it was a combination of Jenton and Barden's fear that set off Ronwin, who seemed to start panicking rather quickly as 500m drew near.
We reached our pinnacle and began our rather rocky descent into the ocean. I can't believe this thing made it so high and, although it's fell from the sky like a literal tonne of bricks, I am rather happy with the results. My kerbal clones were failures this time. I guess hoping for another Jebediah was too much to ask for so soon after the USS Big Fucking Ship's escapade.
I hope the black box recordings and voice recordings will provide some enlightenment to, not only our kerbal cloning, but also to the construction of space faring vessels in the future.
