Resident Evil 5 - Professional S-Rank - Chapter 5-3
0The hardest chapter on Professional in the entire game. Not even close. For reference, I had to restart the entire chapter nearly a dozen times before getting this right.
Now onto the chapter itself. Overall, the sections are nothing you haven't seen before. I would highly suggest the Rocket Launcher for most of this chapter, as many of the majini you'll be fighting are further away and contain assault rifles, along with several Reapers too. Not only that, but having Sheva in Attack Mode will likely help in taking the majini down quicker as you progress throughout the research facility. For the Lickers before the Monarch Room, definitely take the elevator up yourself, that way you can be in control and not rely on Sheva's horrible AI.

Wesker and Jill fight: What can I say? This entire segment is RNG dependent on whether Sheva gets hit in the first five seconds. After skipping the cutscene, head straight for the door and there's about a 50% chance she ends up dying because of her terrible AI. If she doesn't, consider yourself lucky. One trick is if you're quick enough, you can aim at Wesker so that he'll be stunned, though there's a 10% chance of being able to aim in time. As Wesker makes his way up the stairs (assuming Sheva didn't die), wait until he turns the corner and pull out your Rocket Launcher. One rocket should do the trick, but make sure to hit him twice with the Lightning Hawk, otherwise he won't stop the fight. Also, be aware that Jill might walk past you. If she does, there's about a 30% chance that she hits Sheva in another hallway and Sheva dies before Wesker has a chance to flee towards the balcony (had it happen numerous times during this fight).
Jill fight: If you made it this far without dying yet in the chapter, congrats, as most will likely have restarted the entire chapter for S-Rank by now. As for Jill herself, one good trick to keeping her still is using the flash rounds on the Grenade Launcher. Doing this will immobilize her and as you can see in the video, if timed right, you can continue pulling off the device so that she never fires her gun. The major downside to this fight is that if she's unfortunate enough to hit you either with her weapon or one of her tricks, Sheva won't likely be able to save you in time. This is why filling up on First-Aid Sprays can do wonders, as they're just a bit faster than using mixed herbs, which is essential as every millisecond counts on Professional.
If you're lucky enough to pull off the device, that's the end of the 5-3. This entire chapter is nothing but a terribly designed one for S-Rank on Professional. One very important thing to keep in mind is that even though you might die once or twice, you can still achieve S-Rank like I did in the video, IF all other categories are S-Rank already. If any fall below that, however, then you'll end up with an A-Rank and have to redo the entire chapter (believe me, the frustration is real).
All around, the worst chapter in the game on Professional (easily beats 2-3), and it'll likely take numerous attempts before being able to win the fight in under two deaths.
