Resident Evil 5 - Professional S-Rank - Chapter 2-3
0It seems this chapter gives people the most trouble on Professional runs, especially those not using a real partner and relying on AI. For this chapter, I didn't use a real partner, and was able to not have to restart at all and did this entirely in one take (for those claiming it's impossible). What you want to do throughout Savannah is focus on the motorcycle majini. Even though the trucks are important, the majini on the bikes often carry cocktails which can decrease your truck's health extremely fast. Once they're taken out, then go back to focusing on the trucks trying to run you off the road. It may take several attempts, but once you get the feel down for the enemies appearance, it shouldn't be too hard.
Now this is where everyone struggles the most, is on Ndesu. This boss can present a myriad of problems, and it only takes one wrong move to end the run. What you want to do is focus on using your gun up until it's about to overheat. Once the animation for the boss is recovering, that's when you allow your gun to recharge. When the parasites sprout from his arm, make sure to focus on shooting the nearby majini atop the platform in the far-right corner, along with the one in the top-left. Whenever Ndesu uses his foot to stomp on you, keep shooting at his foot, otherwise if it lands, there's a good chance you'll wind up dead and having to restart from the checkpoint. When he picks up a boulder, make sure to shoot at the boulder and it should break before hitting you.
Lastly, you have to be quick at pressing the on-screen buttons. One wrong press will either severely damage you, or cause you to restart the boss. It should take around three (possibly four) large parasite cycles on his back before Ndesu falls. For those unfamiliar with the chapter, this will likely be the hardest part in the Professional run, especially those using AI and not a real partner, but the video should show you that it is possible, and it can be done on the first attempt (although I think I got somewhat lucky).
Outside of that, make sure to practice the spawn points for the majini and once you have that down, the only thing you have to worry about is the boss itself. This boss can come down to luck, unfortunately, but being quick with the gun and knowing the spawning points can help severely diminish the odds of Ndesu one-stomp killing you and Sheva. The one bright spot of the chapter is since everything else is taken care of in terms of S-Ranking, one or two deaths should still allow you to get the rank without having to redo the entire chapter.
