Resident Evil 5 Walkthrough (Suck on this, Wesker) Part 16 Finale
Thoughts: I've lost track of the countless times I have spent replaying this game, from PS3 and all the way through to PS5. Surely, I wouldn't say it's the best entry in the Resident Evil Series but as a Co-op experience, I think it is. This game is way over the top when it comes to cinematics and a lot of cut scenes don't make sense when you truly think about it. This Chris is my favorite version of him compared to the original and final appearance in RE7 but now down to the core game. My favorite feature was to be able to reload a weapon via the items menu instead of having to deal with the animation itself (makes reloading upgrades pointless). Each weapon is unique and once fully upgraded, it makes a huge difference in your playthrough, more importantly when doing new game plus. Over the shoulder is much more convenient for the type of controls it has, nothing different from RE4 maybe just a tad bit more smoother. Laser sight is still easy to lose when trying to shoot down enemies from afar or even the blue medallions hidden throughout the levels. Boss fights felt a bit inconsistent, QTE {Quick Time Events) randomly snuck up on you during a cutscene, and for whatever reason the yellow herb was removed from the trio mix for full health upgrades. The true rewards for this game are all the points, BSAA medals, and money collected for either new weapons/upgrades, bonus skins, or even unlockable perks for say unlimited ammo. Personally I found it fun, some parts a bit stressful but like I said, being rewarded each time makes this game have a lot of replay value plus it gets easier the more you play it.
“Ten years ago, the Umbrella Corporation unleashed a biological threat of unprecedented proportions on Raccoon City. Chris Redfield, one of the few survivors of the incident, is now working as an agent for the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA). His mission: head to the Kijuju Autonomous Zone in an undisclosed African country and apprehend an arms dealer specializing in biological weapons. Little did he know that a darker force was at play--one that bore a familiar face...
Traverse areas of blinding light and impenetrable darkness in the first Resident Evil bold enough to bring horror into the daylight. With online and couch co-op, you need not face the fear alone. Enter Sheva Alomar--a powerful new ally. Together, she and Chris will pit themselves against an incredible enemy to determine which is stronger, their fear or their faith in each other.”
