Resident Evil 6: "AGENT HUNT" Sessions 812 - 930 Longplay (FINAL)
It’s been 9 years since I started the Agent Hunt series. I originally played it because I liked the aspect of being able to control a creature for once vice controlling the protagonist normally from a Resident Evil title. RE6 finally did this and I was excited to play it from a creature point of view. I didn’t think I would last. As you noticed if you watched from Episode 1, I entered into the mode with absolutely no knowledge. I didn’t know any of the strategies for any creature, I didn’t know about any of the hidden attacks, or movements of some creatures (the Zombie Dog especially), but as more episodes were uploaded, you could see I was slowly improving. Truthfully, playing alongside many Veterans and top-ranked Hunters and watching them as I partnered with them during hunts have helped me improve as well. I admit, there were times where if I was alone in a session, I would intentionally not try to kill Agents because I wanted to practice some creatures and strategies but even this was difficult.
I was asked often times “How come you never tried to achieve a top-rank?” Honestly, I didn’t play this mode for the leaderboards and only for the fun of being able to use the creatures. It was a different experience than what we’re normally offered when you pop in a Resident Evil title. It also meant I would have to play non-stop because at the time I started playing, the top-ranking Hunters already had a score over 10,000. There’s also the fact during the PS3 times, the leaderboards for every mode (Agent Hunt included) were already populated with cheaters, so all the legit scores would just be drowned out anyways. I had the same mentality for the PS4 side, though as of this writing and upload, the leaderboards have no cheated scores but eventually, they'll get tainted with cheaters too. Plus, I felt I would’ve stopped playing altogether a long time ago if I was only playing for a rank rather than for fun. This led to me taking between 1 to 4 month breaks after I had uploaded an Episode.
For this video, I decided to upload every possible area you can hunt Agents in (including Leon: Chapter 1 despite my hatred for this map and I intentionally left it out on some of the older episodes). I decided to have Jake: Chapter 3 be the close-out because out of all my years of playing, it was the most common map to encounter malicious players in, so I felt this was the perfect map to end it with.
This will be the last one and after this, I’m officially retired from Agent Hunt. The reasons are mostly because I wanted to focus on other stuff completely, plus many of the Hunters I admire and loved partnering with, both from the PS3 and PS4 side are gone and have moved on, so I felt it was time for me to do the same. After this, all footage both from PS3 and PS4 including ones that I didn’t use will disappear forever. To all Veteran Hunters and especially the Japanese Hunters who were my biggest inspiration – Thank you for everything and bearing with me! Take care everyone! Good luck future Hunters!
