Resident Evil 7 launched in Japan on the Nintendo Switch. This was the Cloud Edition of the game that relies on servers to deliver the game in real time. While most gamers outside of Japan had poor experiences videos from those in Japan on launch day seemed to show decent performance. Reports have started to come out that Sony has been thinking about a Playstation Classic system internally more than likely after noticing the recent success from Nintendo and their recent classic consoles with the NES and SNES.
