Hello everyone! How are you? I hope you are all well and with good health 😃 .
My name is Velpa, and I am dedicated to completing retro videogames (from the first to the fourth generation, well sometimes sixth like in this case) in No Damage conditions and without savestates, and this time I bring you Resident Evil: Code Veronica X for the PS2, a game that we will break to its very essence in order to complete it without receiving a single hit. Are you ready?
🎮 🎮 🎮 MY STYLE WHEN DOING NO DAMAGE RUNS 🎮 🎮 🎮
Personally, I love a No Damage Run that is full of style and aggressiveness. With style, I mean things like joking with enemies/bosses (maybe something like trying different combos that might do less damage and make the fight longer, and maybe involves a higher risk, but is funny and entertaining to watch), and with aggressiveness, I mean things like getting myself into positions where it's very easy for me to take damage (maybe something like fighting in the middle of the room instead of cornering myself and making use of the fact that enemies can't attack past a certain point, what is more technically known as the player being out of bounds for the enemy range of attack). I only play safe mostly when it's absolutely necessary (to avoid bad RNG/randomness near the end of a run, for example). So if you love these qualities as much as I do, then it's pretty much guaranteed that you'll have a lot of fun watching this run and the other ones that I have uploaded to my channel! 😊 .

I'm very happy with this run because so many things went so well. The fight against T078 went on with just 1 knife slash at the end (which just feels so awesome whenever it happens), the shot at the middle bug during Alexia Final Boss fight was very clean (that diagonal shot is necessary because otherwise if you just aim down, there's a higher chance of missing due to how targeting and hitboxes work) and I never got lost! Well except just a little bit at a point where I almost go down the stairs in the Mansion, but you almost can't notice.
The usual: there's a lot of stuff going on and due to space limitations I'm not able to write it all in here but feel free to ask away in the comments or in my contacts below on my strats!
Also! Some of you may remember that around a decade ago, I made a Rank A No Healing Items run of this game (and saving once at half of the game, the free save). Who would've thought that a decade later, I would be actually completing it No Damage and No Saves! I had the thought 10 years ago, but it sounded way too crazy and out of reach at that point. But now it happened! It finally, actually did!
