Thus, despite taking the basis of the 1999 game, the team that already created Resident Evil: Mortal Night has created a new game with survival and open-world mechanics.
On the moddb website they explain that the story takes place during "the first days of the Raccoon City outbreak". "Playing as Kevin from the Outbreak series, you will have to resist inside and outside the RPD, managing the few resources at your disposal and making sure that the survivors do not die." "For this there will be new game mechanics and you will have to choose carefully what you want to do, leaving the doors open to dozens of consequences." In addition to multiple side and parallel mission, there will be an internal clock that will mark the availability of them, so it will not only be important to do one action or another, but also when it is done.
The game is open world as it allows you to freely explore the different locations of the RPD and its surroundings. But beyond this there are changes in the game mechanics: players can create barricades if they have the resources to do so and enemies can break them, just like doors. There are also fellow police officers controlled by artificial intelligence who can accompany us on our missions. In addition, there are some elements of the remakes that are introduced here, such as the Resident Evil 3 Remake pale head enemies and the existence of adversaries that continuously persecute us.
