Resident Evil is the debut title of legend Shinji Mikami. I mapped a path for this speedrun and I wasn't sure how I would break this video up, so it will be by parts, in terms of my progression. REbirth is a fan project that mods the original PC release so it runs on modern machines, with some upgrades like the ability to skip door animations.

For this run, I play as Chris. He has 6 inventory slots instead of 8, unlike Jill, and gets no grenade gun. He's essentially the "hard" mode for this game. Although I don't think there's a significant gap in difficulty between the two. Chris also can't save anytime, he needs items called Ink Ribbons in order to save, but that doesn't matter, since this is a no save clear of the game. I get the second good ending here, as I save Rebecca and I fight the Tyrant again on the roof of the labs.

Jill dies though. Sorry Jill fans.
No cutscenes. I turn those off.
