It's finally here! Join me as I take a look at Retro Fighter's newest controller: The Defender! An All-In-One wireless PlayStation Controller that works for PS1, PS2, PS3, and even PS Classic, Switch, and PC! I'll go over my experiences with PS1, PS2, and PS3, along with my general thoughts on the design and feel!

Gameplay recorded from original consoles using HD Retrovision or Retro Gaming Cables shielded cables (Component for PS2 and PS3, SCART for PS1) - Running through a RetroTINK 5X Pro.

Update: The issues with control I experienced could be the result of input lag. I believe at the time I filmed this, I may have been playing on capture preview on OBS for the PS1 and PS2 segments. The PS3 footage I am pretty sure I wasn't, but I cannot be 100% certain, so the fault could totally be on me. Some times the input lag is imperceptible on capture preview (at least to me), other times it produces a noticeable effect. Something similar happened when I was taking a look at the Blade and Battler Retro Fighter controllers.
