Retro-bit Prism GameCube Component Cables vs Wii HD-Retrovision Component Cables (2X Pro and 5X Pro)
Let's take another look at the Retro-Bit Prism Component Cable for GameCube! I'll recap some of the info from the first video, such as addressing the darker color vs Composite or 5X Pro demos, and also show that the Audio Channels are reversed, which was noted to me after publishing the original video. Then we'll get to the main event: Comparing the Retro-Bit Cables to HD Retrovision's Wii Component Cables to see which one looks the best. Which option offers the best quality for the investment?
*Update: my current favorite way to play GameCube is definitely with The CARBY. The GC Video quality is very good, and for, comes across as one of the cleanest and sharpest of all the options I currently have. The honorable second mention would be using Wii with USB Loader with the 5X Pro, Wii or GameCube, that also looks awesome.
*On a TV, this capture footage is reflective of what it looks like when the content is 16:9 on a Modern Screen. This is due to a mistake with the capture, caused by a combination of my inexperience and this HDMI Matrix Switch I was using at this time (not anymore). For anyone who enjoys a more full screen effect, this video has the benefit of showing what it would look like if you connected RetroTINK Devices and left the TV's settings to 16:9 (at least for my 2018 Samsung, it doesn't switch to 4:3 Automatically or attempts to preserve the 4:3 input). The other reason I did nt realize this sooner is a lot of the retro gaming I had been doing in the years leading up to me creating this channel was on my Wii, set to 16:9 output, 4:3 was like a hidden memory. Just wanted to fully explain it all here. Thanks for reading if you've made it this far!
There are a number of videos featuring the 2X Pro now now on the channel that show proper 4:3 (See the recent 2X Pro/5X Pro vs Generic Upscalers Video:

*Correction: I realized I never actually showed my HD Retrovision Wii Cables on camera. I usually try to show some kind of establishing shot of whatever device or thing I’m doing content on, or with controllers I show myself using them in B-roll, etc. My Wii HD Retrovision cables are visible in my recent gaming set up video ( https://youtu.be/vqw0m6Ususk ). Just like with the Prism Cables, my Wii cables run through one of my Extron Switches, which then have multiple outputs leading to my RetroTINKs.

*Important Call-Out: YouTube's compression does take away a lot of detail that is seen in person that devices like RetroTINK, RAD2X, CARBY, and more output. Bear that in mind with any content containing capture footage from those devices. My commentary and opinions come from the Raw Capture Files and what it looks like on my TV, I can't account for what details are lost to compression until after the video is uploaded.

*On a TV, this capture footage (2X Pro / 2X Pro-M) is reflective of what it looks like when the content is 16:9. This was a mistake with Capture settings that I've corrected since. There are many videos showcasing 4:3 2X Pro performance on the channel, most recently:
