In this episode of Retro Flashback, I take a look at Excitebike for the NES through the Wii U Virtual Console system. This is an awesome launch NES title that despite it's overall lack of content still plays super tight and is a lot of fun to this day.
Excitebike can be purchased digitally on the Virtual Console services for the Wii, Wii U or 3DS which can be access through those system's respective online stores. A Nintendo 64 edition of this game called Excitebike 64 is also available, as it a modernised version for WiiWire called Excitebike: World Rally.
Apologies for the degraded audio quality once again. Thanks to the stupid IDT audio drivers in my laptop and the crappy Elgato Game Capture HD software, this video ended up being recorded with my laptop's internal webcam mic instead of through my mixer. I recorded this late at night and either had to re-record it or miss an episode so I decided to post it. Needless to say, I now know how to ensure this won't happen again. :)
