Retro Gaming Capture Test 38 Part 3 | Evercade VS-R
More testing of gaming rigs I am building, where I would like each device to be played very quickly without any wiring and also to be able to capture footage where possible with just a few switches turned on. The point of these videos is to see how this type of set up can be done with different devices and maybe help anyone else trying to do a similar thing with a mix of old and new hardware.
A new version of the VS console and the handheld have been released, both with the first Tomb Raider games in the cartridge collection. These I believe, are being released as cheaper revamped options mostly, but with most of the features of the previous versions. The handheld does not have a HDMI output, but the VS-R console does, so all of the captured video is of this unit only. We take a quick look at the menus, then some short clips of each of the 3 games on the new acrtridge included in the package.
