Elf's Dance is less of a slow burner as I managed to play it. It's very easy to become quite powerful very quickly. Your creature cap is 25 and each of your two opponents is only 10. Easiest method of dominance is acquiring those 25 creatures, training them non-stop with the gold at hand and then taking the back route around the top left of the map to the first enemy keeper and winning easily.
