Today has been a wild day online after it was revealed that Metroid Prime 4 was having issues in development and that it would be restarted with Retro Studios now taking the helm. Previously we had heard that Retro Studios was interested in other more creative ventures, but with the latest rumors it appears that Retro Studios wanted to get involved even pitching a demo to Nintendo to convince them.
