RetroArch for iOS - Complete Set-up Guide for iPad, iPhone and Apple TV
11Apple recently accepted retro-game emulators to be distributed through their iOS App Store, and there has been alot of them appearing. While many have their merits, the grandfather of emulators for PC, RetroArch, has also arrived.
For my money, RetroArch is the most comprehensive and reliable emulator, however it can also be a little challenging to setup if you're unfamiliar with it. This video is a complete guide to download, install, setup and import your games, along with a demonstration of how to pair Sony PlayStation DualShock and DualSense controllers plus Microsoft XBox controller too.
It must be clearly highlighted that emulators are legal software, as is the playing of emulated games (roms) that you own and the use of BIOS files for consoles that you own. The unauthorised sharing of games is, however, illegal so this video will not encourage this practice nor make any effort to enable this via links or comment both in the video or subsequent comments below. All games shown in this video are from my own private collection of over 1,300 original games, as shown on screen, that I use across my 14 original hardware consoles and several gaming computers.
