This episode of the Virtual Machines Series. Review OEM Recovery for Acer Aspire 460 that runs Windows 95 RTM. That's right Windows 95 RTM is the most challenging for doing vmware workstation stuff like installing vmware tools. I have the older version of VMware tools that can run Windows 95. It's version 3.50 and you have to use hardware compatibility 6.5-7x or else it won't work for newer versions of VMware tools 3.5.0. Also, I will put a link description if you want to use VMware Tools 3.5.0 for Windows 95 RTM. Plus the sound driver is the most painful to install using Windows 95 RTM. Because of causing like bsod and protecting windows error. I already installed Windows 95 CPU Fix. So I will give you guys the link description if you want to try out recovery of Acer Aspire 460.
