Make sure to use Mame romset 0.139 to get the rom(s) to work on the MAME4droid for your Retroid Pocket 2 Plus. I prefer using MAME4droid over the RetroArch MAME cores for Arcade games on my RP2+, but I did however get the arcade version of Killer Instinct 1 running very well on RetroArch using the MAME 2003-Plus Core/romset.

you can put the current value for frame skip to "none and it'll run this game smooth, it plays great from start to finish!

I don't know the link to ROM so use the search engine best way possible at your risk. ;)
