Laid out and connected up all the parts for the retropie mobile build before considering case options and tidying up. I have a pretty poor USB power bank with a DC-DC booster to up the voltage to 5.2 Volts. A tiny 3W stereo amp drives two 4 ohm speakers and a dual gang pot to adjust the analogue jack out. By switching the sound mode to mixer, you can ramp the volume up and you get much more signal to noise (there's still a little hiss).
