RetroTINK 2X Pro vs $15 Upscaler - Composite, S-Video, and Component Comparisons
197I've seen a lot of articles asking about these cheaper Analogue to Digital Converters and Scalers. I've enjoyed using RetroTINK Devices, but never tried out these cheaper alternatives...so today, let's see what this $15 Composite to HDMI Upscaler has to offer compared to the RetroTINK 2X Pro!
*Correction: For this video, all the composite and S-Video capture was done by connecting the appropriate cable directly from the console to the 2X Pro and AV2HDMI, bypassing my Extron Switches. The Component Capture footage seen here was taken from my SNES using HD Retrovision’s Component Cable that runs through my Extron Switch system. That cable is zip tied and managed, didn’t want to remove or mess with that haha (I’ve accidentally cut cables with my cutters before when removing zip ties…that is expensive one to replace) especially since it’s inclusion here is a bonus.
