RetroTINK 2X Pro and 5X Pro vs $25 Component Upscaler - Component Comparisons
29After comparing the RetroTINK 2X and 5X Pro to the AV2HDMI in previous videos, I found myself curious to also compare them something that utilizes Component. So let's check out this 1080p Component to HDMI Upscaler, the Portta! We'll compare the Portta to the 2X and 5X Pro on the GameCube, PS2, Xbox, and even PS3 to test a variety of Console Output Settings using Component Cables.
The GameCube will be using Retro-bit Prism Cables
The PS2 and PS3 is using HD-Retrovison Component Cables
The Xbox is using Generic Component Cables

*On a TV, this capture footage (2X Pro) is reflective of what it looks like when the content is 16:9. Within OBS using my Elgato Capture Card, I've never been able to get RetroTINK devices other than the 5X Pro to display as 4:3. I can on my TV, by setting the Aspect Ratio to 4:3, but never the capture itself. Tried changing resolution, canvas, etc. Might be a quirk with RetroTINK and Elgato.
