Return Of Pope Squad | Crusader Kings 3 - Royal Court DLC - Part 53
211Crusader Kings 3 continues and Pope Squad return as they launch yet another Crusade on members of our faith, this time targeting the Kingdom of Jazira. We declare our interest in going on the defensive and save up quite a bit of money but my goodness me Pope Squad and his Catholic friends sure do have a lot of soldiers...
Before the Crusade we do a spot of warring on our own but not in a place we'd planned but rather a place that someone asks us to go and grab, so of course we willingly oblige!
This does push us over our vassal limit so we have to do a little bit of readjustment of our vassals, just to make sure that the right people are reporting in to the right people.
With some of the money we're nicely amassing we invest in some more men-at-arms. We top up our existing regiments and we get a brand new set of men-at-arms too which lets us counter more opposing troop types.
Also we finally acquire some armour, we go for a naked run and Grandmaster Faruk keeps on calling up his own Holy Order. Repeatedly. For week after week.
