We now have a new Returnal patch that will allow us to make changes to the difficulty. What do you think? Is it safe to turn auto-updates back on for the PlayStation 5?? After hearing about the crazy surprise the most recent 1.33 update somehow was causing players to lose their save data completely, I took the precaution of immediately backing up my original save file to the PlayStation Plus Cloud Storage just in case. I only ended up playing for a few minutes to share the latest patch notes and switched games.I was able to maintain my original save data on my console luckily but I still went ahead and backed up my save file again after installing this brand new patch. Going forward, I decided to permanently disable Automatic updates until completion aswell as continuing to send my progress to the cloud storage as I advance through the stages to stay safe.
