I uploaded this intro in 8 pieces long ago. Back then i did not have the correct program to edit the AVI files which dosbox produced (due to some codec problems). Eventually I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor). I think this is far one of the best sci fi games ever created, and that is why I keep returning to this game. And also: this intro is really well made and very sci-fi-ish. I love it. It is one of my top favorite intros for any computer game. Back in the 90ies computer game companies really made an effort out the intros. But then again: gamers were a different crowd back then. PC gamers had a different background than the consol gamers. And with the rapid accesability of PC's the games for PC became more consol-like. And i felt the PC-games and Consol games began to look to much alike, and eventually, as of today, it is more or less the same games on both consols and PC. The dumbing down of the games is not necesarry a bad thing, i just miss my epic and artistic intros, that is all.
