The key to this stage is to keep a close eye on the buffs on the boss. He has some nasty buffs including massive Reality damage resist, or incantation might and penetration rate may one shot your characters if you're not careful
Some tips
1. A dispeller such as Pickles, Necrologist or Horrorpedia is mandatory. This is the only way to remove the counter stance on the boss (or if you can bring the boss to the next life, the counter stance will be dispeled). When the boss is out of this stance you get a massive +40% damage boost so in other words you deal significantly less damage when boss is in this stance.
2. Besides the stance all other buffs can be dispelled if you do a 2* buff, heal, counter or channel incantation. You need to make use of this trait to continuously remove the buffs on the boss. This is also why I picked my party: Yenisei can empower incantation on herself which makes it easier to get a 2* heal, while 6 can empower pickles to get pickles 2* dispel.
3. Beast and Mineral afflatus characters get 20% stats buff. If you're not using these afflatus you need to have a way to apply some defensive buffs to mitigate damage on the boss. For example, I use Yenisei to buff Sturdiness and 6 to apply some resistances.
4. Save tuning to focus more on getting incantations that can dispel. The whole key to the fight is really managing the buffs on the boss. If you can do this, SSS rank should be very easy to achieve.
