🌌Reverse: 1999 - First Look at 2.7 Update, Free 6 Star, Euphoria, No Hissabeth? (ft. Name Day, etc)🌌
0Best of luck to anyone going for Hissabeth (and Name Day)! This was something I was looking forward to this in the sense that the event sees the return of Windsong, Vila and Avgust, the Rayashki trio I grew to absolutely adore! But that aside, we have Hissabeth, Name Day, new Garments, Euphoria, a free 6 Star, and more!
For new Garments, it was hard to pick, but I think I'm going with Rabies! Obviously, funny character with a funny garment but the colours on him work really well, and the full art of him is awesome with him on the swing! A very close second for me would probably be Argus, the badass merc who I have a soft spot for, seems to be taking part in the stars as the Starbound Bounty Hunter! The outfit looks cool, I still think she is gorgeous, and her hat looks awesome. Then we have Barcarola and her Advanced Garment with her huge, Advanced Crackling Box! I appreciate all the differences to the default and Insight II looks, plus the Crackling Box gets a makeover too, with some slight colour changes to her outfit too, embracing the more cosmic, space-like theme. And finally, we have Voyager, who has another new Garment, a new cosmic-like headpiece and a white and purple theme in her design!
Then for Euphoria...I really really wish that Ezra had access to Euphoria before 2.7 for reasons I'll explain later. However, it's still cool to see him get some love! Then we have Jiu Niangzi who has an awesome moment with Euphoria, and I'd like to put that to use with her now that I gave her the Cocoon of Myths! I should still be fine with Euphorias when it comes to Lucy, Semmelweis and other investments like Nautika and Ulrich, and of course Flutterpage, but I should be okay I think!
While Hissabeth is a skip for me due to how focused I am on Flutterpage and Nautika, she seems like a cool Laplace character, and her snakes are awesome too! I'm sure Name Day will arrive one day, and maybe Hissabeth can come to me some time in the 3.x era of Reverse: 1999 but we'll see! Kiperina, I'm so torn on, I keep hearing good things about her, the Shields, but my lack of Impromptu. My focus is on Nautika and 2.8 in general, but Kiperina is my favourite character's apprentice. Ahhhhhhhh decisions decisions! I think I will do 10 or 20 summons and what will be will be.
But yeah, as for my Freebie, I only had 2 characters I didn't have in the pool, such as Ms. NewBabel and Voyager. I was torn, but ultimately decided on NewBabel. I think I might have to abandon attempts on forming an Impromptu team for the time being, but I think a future Dynamo Team and HP Loss Team both sound awesome to me! I just wish Ezra was an option because I would have loved to have him as part of that Dynamo team, but I think it's fine still!
