A team of South Korean diplomats and their North Korean rivals must forge an uneasy alliance to make a daring life-or-death escape from rebel militants when both of their embassies in the Somali capitol of Mogadishu are ransacked during the city's fall amid the country's violent 1991 Civil War in this (loosely) historical action-melodrama from director Ryoo Seung-wan. A blockbuster hit in Korea, it mostly overcomes a formula premise and some overly familiar characters through tight suspense chops and bravura chase climax.
